I appreciated the hotel's central location. Shops, pubs, and albert dock were all within walking distance. the staff was friendly. They helped. my room was comfortable. the building itself felt grand.

Some maintenance was needed. A light on the right side of the bed did not function, and the tv showed a 'no signal' warning.

the reception desk staff went out of their way to help. the staff were helpful at every stage, from check-in to check-out. they held onto our bags while we explored tourist attractions. the staff was very nice!

the location was indeed great for getting around.

the room i got was on the lower ground floor and it constantly had a smoky smell, like public smoking constantly seeped in. there were also some questionable stains on the headboard which i found less than appealing

The staff were friendly. the hotel felt secure, especially with security at night. i really appreciated the quietness. I slept so well without disturbances.

my room was in the basement. it felt dark and dingy. i asked if i could move, but i learned they were supposedly full. i found this hard to believe based on the number of people around.

the location is really central. the staff was helpful and friendly. i enjoyed having a bar and restaurant right there (the cocktails were fab!). i also appreciated playing pool in the bar area.

the pillows were pretty cheap. they flattened out as soon as you lay down. i could have used more support during the night.

The room featured a very large, comfortable bed. The staff at reception and during breakfast were helpful and friendly. I found the shower and bathroom facilities to be in perfect condition. The room size was also notable (it felt spacious).

I experienced a minor inconvenience, one of the elevators was temporarily out of service, resulting in slight delays during peak hours.
