really good city stay
central location friendly staff comfortable room grand building
I appreciated the hotel's central location. Shops, pubs, and albert dock were all within walking distance. the staff was friendly. They helped. my room was comfortable. the building itself felt grand.
Some maintenance was needed. A light on the right side of the bed did not function, and the tv showed a 'no signal' warning.

The hotel is in the city center. Everything you need is a short distance away. the hotel is within walking distance of many shops and pubs. Albert dock is nearby too. good options for public transportation are close.

the reception desk staff went out of their way to help. the staff were helpful at every stage, from check-in to check-out. they held onto our bags while we explored tourist attractions. the staff was very nice!

adequate but underwhelming
smoky smell stained headboard
the location was indeed great for getting around.
the room i got was on the lower ground floor and it constantly had a smoky smell, like public smoking constantly seeped in. there were also some questionable stains on the headboard which i found less than appealing

The staff were friendly. the hotel felt secure, especially with security at night. i really appreciated the quietness. I slept so well without disturbances.
my room was in the basement. it felt dark and dingy. i asked if i could move, but i learned they were supposedly full. i found this hard to believe based on the number of people around.

fantastic stay!
helpful staff central location
the location is really central. the staff was helpful and friendly. i enjoyed having a bar and restaurant right there (the cocktails were fab!). i also appreciated playing pool in the bar area.
the pillows were pretty cheap. they flattened out as soon as you lay down. i could have used more support during the night.

the hotel has a well-equipped gym with three treadmills and two stationary bikes available for guest use. there is also a bar area with a pool table. luggage storage is offered.

Fantastic Stay
comfortable bed friendly staff bathroom condition spacious room
The room featured a very large, comfortable bed. The staff at reception and during breakfast were helpful and friendly. I found the shower and bathroom facilities to be in perfect condition. The room size was also notable (it felt spacious).
I experienced a minor inconvenience, one of the elevators was temporarily out of service, resulting in slight delays during peak hours.
