Satisfactory Stay Near the Docks

convenient locationhelpful staffearly check-inmusty smell
The hotel's location was convenient. I could easily walk to the city center. The staff were genuinely helpful and courteous. I secured parking on site, and this provided peace of mind. I appreciated the early check-in that I received. It made settling in much easier after my journey.
The room looked somewhat dated, and I noticed a slight musty smell. I think fresher air would have improved the atmosphere. This detracted a little from an otherwise pleasant experience.
Rooms
8/10
The twin room I occupied included two separate beds and a small desk. The beds had clean linens. The bathroom featured basic amenities. The room had sufficient space for luggage storage, though the décor was a little old.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast included a selection of cereals, toast, and some hot items. The sausages tasted great. I observed staff regularly restocking the buffet. Coffee and tea were available. The dining area was clean and reasonably spacious.

adequate stay with a few issues

dated roomlimited menu
i found the room to be quite dated. the woodchip wallpaper felt very old (it needs updating). the bar menu was also quite limited, and they were trying to pass off a hot dog and chips as a 'special'.
