It's a place for those seeking a social atmosphere, with local brews and maybe even a late-night quiz, and the quirky setting, complete with local art and a rooftop terrace, sets it apart. Its location is convenient, close to Aldi and Tesco, with restaurants and takeaways within walking distance, plus easy access to bus transport to the city centre. rustic charm and friendly faces

rustic feel friendly people nice atmosphere relaxing stay
i enjoyed the rustic feel of the place. the room was just right for my short stay, and i liked the amenities provided. everyone was friendly, and the pub had a nice atmosphere. sitting there was very relaxing.
The stairs leading to the outdoor roof top bar had a slight slant and a sewer pipe ran through the treads. It was a bit rickety, so i didn't feel entirely confident walking on it.

slanted stairs shower mould
The stairs leading to the rooms needed work. the outdoor stairs were slanted and included a sewer pipe. this rooftop area seemed rickety and not in use at all. it lacked confidence in the structure and led to the room access door. mould grew in the shower cubicle. The staff indicated cleaners were unable to fully clean it.
