“Staying above a proper English pub, steps from Bath's attractions, sounds ideal to me. The Griffin Inn, from what I gather, offers a genuine slice of local life, the kind that bypasses typical tourist experiences. I appreciate that it's unfussy, prioritizing character and connection over generic luxury, with a particularly welcoming atmosphere.”

the location proved convenient for exploring the area.
The noise level from the pub downstairs was significant. It. i found the bathroom quite small and somewhat dated. also, the stairs presented a challenge with luggage due to their steepness.

The pub downstairs had a great atmosphere and served good food! i really liked the wonderful linens provided, including the large, new towels and crisp sheets. the location was perfect. It was a short walk from the train station and very close to the city centre.
The cost for bringing my dog felt excessive. I paid £25, but there was no bed or bowl provided in the room as i had expected.
