Black Rock Oceanfront Resort, located 30 km from Tofino-Long Beach, provides studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites in the Lodge and Wild Pacific Trail Suites. Studio Trail Suites, suitable for up to 4 guests, include king-size beds, double pullout couches, and kitchenettes with dishwashers and 2-burner stovetops. One Bedroom Lodge Suites feature separate living rooms with double pullout couches. One Bedroom Trail Suites include front-loading washer and dryers. Every suite has a kitchenette or kitchen, gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, and a balcony. Bathrooms feature soaking tubs and rain showers. Pet-friendly suites are available.
Dining Experience
Currents Restaurant is open daily, serving West Coast cuisine with ocean views. Big Beach Lounge offers snacks, cocktails, and fireplace seating, with live music on Thursday and Saturday nights. The Wine Cellar offers a private patio and views of the surge channel. Patio seating is available during summer breakfast hours.
Leisure and Relaxation
Drift Spa provides treatments using Seaflora organic seaweed products harvested on Vancouver Island. Guests can use the two outdoor hot tubs and a seasonal plunge pool. Registered resort guests and day spa guests are able to access our outdoor pool facilities. The resort is near the Wild Pacific Trail. Activities include storm watching, whale watching, and exploring the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

My room had a French press. This was a nice feature. The hot tub was very nice after a day exploring local trails. The restaurant food was good. The towels were good quality.
I did have some issues with a lack of hot water. It impacted my first night, so I could not shower after a long day of travel.

I loved exploring the rugged coastline near the lighthouse trail! the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. the ev charging on site made things super convenient, and i did not have to worry! i want to go back soon.
I found a lack of hot water after check-in. It was not good. the issue affected the entire hotel, and i was not able to shower after a long day! the compensation felt disproportionate.

the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, addressing all requests quickly. i shout out to linda in the lounge, as they are always attentive and professional. sim at the dining room gave superb service.

The resort is set on cliffs. It overlooks the Pacific and coniferous forest. Trails and the rocky beach are easily accessible. The charming center is a short walk. The suite included a functional kitchenette, comfortable bed, and soaker tub.
The door between the suites seemed thin. Folks were partying until late. It disrupted the quiet atmosphere.
