The staff offered excellent advice about the area. my room was comfortable and clean. i liked the quiet location. It had easy access to public transport. great restaurants and bars were nearby (i avoided the tourist traps).
the room was small. there was just enough room to shuffle around the bed, and this didn't really come across in the photos, i think.

the breakfast offered good value at the hotel. i found an excellent boulangerie across the road. it was easy to pick up lunch, and there were local cafes and bars available too.

the hotel is near the gare de lyon. the metro is a short walk away (very convenient). the double glazing kept my room quiet. the building included a lift to the 4th floor.

the location felt safe (i walked alone at night). it is not a very touristy area. i discovered a couple of good local bar restaurants. i found it easy to get around from here.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful. they provided good information about travel to local sights. the hotel was very clean, which i appreciated.
My room was small. there was just enough space to move around the bed. the shower handle was not properly fixed. It was a bit loose.
