the room was spacious and well appointed it had a very good shower all staff were very pleasant and helpful the grounds were well kept and plenty of free parking.
the car park path has no lighting it is very poor at night time and on our way home from night outs when walking the path i can't see a thing in front of you the seats in bar were very uncomfortable the whole experience was very disappointing although the hotel was clean and tidy it very much could benefit from a facelift.

I encountered a couple of hiccups . The path to the car park lacked lighting, a safety concern at night. I nearly tripped a few times! My room also had a slightly dated feel. The window glazing could have been cleaner and the furniture was a bit worn. Honestly, the absence of proper lighting made navigating the car park treacherous after dark.

my "executive double or twin room" was quite spacious. i enjoyed a very good breakfast with a nice selection of items. the location was perfect for my travel needs and i appreciated the quiet.
the car park path had no lighting so walking at night was difficult. the bar was not consistently opened at the stated time. the hotel seems a bit isolated without a car.

My room overlooked the golf course. It had beautiful views. Breakfast had many options, including a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. I liked the room also had a table and chairs, very convenient. The staff was attentive to our needs.
I found the car park path to be very poorly lit at night. It made walking back to the hotel difficult, especially after dark. Some lighting improvements are needed for safety.

the double room had a decent layout i noticed the golf course views immediately the breakfast included a selection of pastries and hot items i also appreciated the ample parking available onsite.
the bathroom could use a bit more attention the grout lines looked worn.
