Hazlitt's, formerly the home of author William Hazlitt, features individually-furnished rooms named after people who visited in Hazlitt's day. Club Single rooms feature antique furniture and artwork, 18th-century carved oak single beds, and Victorian bathroom fittings. Club Double rooms include antique furniture, fine pictures, and rich fabrics, with a 17th-century carved oak or Georgian four-poster bed. Bathrooms have restored vintage fittings, with a free-standing bath or shower. Superior Double rooms offer 17th-century carved oak or Georgian four-poster beds and restored vintage fittings, including roll-top baths and high-level cisterns. All rooms include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen television, a mini-bar, a safe, and land&water toiletries. Select suites feature separate living areas, and luxury bathrooms with Victorian bathing machines. Some rooms have a sitting area, original 18th Century fireplaces, carved oak beds, mahogany compactums, hand-carved gilded cherubs and marble baths.
