acceptable stay, problems exist

the hotel location seemed good enough.
i was really dissapointed by the minibar charges. bottled water costed extra, what kind of hospitality is that? the room felt tight, it was a squeeze to get past the bed to reach the bathroom. stairs are a bit precarious also.

The hotel's period charm quickly wore off. My room was cramped and the shower was just a handheld sprayer in the bath, a major inconvenience. The noise from the street was also constant, impacting my sleep.

i found the staff very friendly. The location was GREAT, close to many restaurants. Breakfast delivered to the library, it was amazing. The room was cozy but functional.
the building felt old, like a b and b. The stairs were dangerous. i found that it was not suitable for a hotel.

the room included air conditioning for temperature control. the room also had a comfortable bed. i noticed bathrobes were available for use after a shower.

a bread basket was available during breakfast. i had tea in the morning and it tasted good. the hotel offered a gin honesty bar, and it had a good selection.

location good but some issues
noisy street
the location was central that was certainly a positive aspect. however the room faced a very noisy street and i had trouble sleeping. the noise from outside went on quite late.
