acceptable stay, problems exist

minibar charges tight room
the hotel location seemed good enough.
i was really dissapointed by the minibar charges. bottled water costed extra, what kind of hospitality is that? the room felt tight, it was a squeeze to get past the bed to reach the bathroom. stairs are a bit precarious also.

Centrally Located, but Lacking Modern Comforts

handheld shower street noise
The hotel's period charm quickly wore off. My room was cramped and the shower was just a handheld sprayer in the bath, a major inconvenience. The noise from the street was also constant, impacting my sleep. The lack of an elevator made hauling luggage up several flights of stairs a real chore.

friendly staff great breakfast cozy room
i found the staff very friendly. The location was GREAT, close to many restaurants. Breakfast delivered to the library, it was amazing. The room was cozy but functional.
the building felt old, like a b and b. The stairs were dangerous. i found that it was not suitable for a hotel.
