effective air conditioning english breakfast soft bedding
the double room had effective air conditioning. i found the provided breakfast to be a genuine english breakfast, including pancakes. i also noted the lovely, soft bedding, comparable to what i've experienced in 5-star hotels.
i did have some trouble finding a parking space at 6:30 pm in the hotel car park.

i found my room very clean and tidy upon arrival. the breakfast offered a good selection (i enjoyed the pastries). staff members were efficient and friendly, which i appreciated.
the water pressure in the shower was somewhat lacking.

inoperative air conditioning excessive parking fee
I must register some significant issues. the air conditioning unit was inoperative. The room was uncomfortably warm. a fan was provided, but it offered negligible relief.. moreover, the parking fee of £10 per night seems excessive given these inadequacies.

The breakfast selection was good. I particularly enjoyed the variety available. The location proved useful for my planned activities. Staff members were friendly and always ready to help. I found them accommodating. The premises were clean and well kept, very reassuring.
The toilet in my room seemed unusually low! That was a minor inconvenience.

Decent Location, Some Issues
faulty system ineffective cooling
The room had issues. The air cooling system just didn't work at all, so the room was uncomfortably hot. I asked about it, and a clerk claimed it was working as designed but it seemed like nonsense. The windows barely opened, which didn't help much with the heat.
