Our stay at the Inn At Rockaway was quite disappointing overall. While the front desk staff tried their best to assist, we were initially given a room with a horrible odor and poor location. The noise from upstairs guests was also bothersome. On the bright side, the hotel is in a good location and the blackout curtains worked well. We had to deal with room changes and a lack of clean sheets through our stay, which overshadowed the positives.

The first room we received had a terrible smell and was right next to a parking lot, but the second room was larger and relatively clean. However, the lack of soundproofing was a major downside.

The staff at the front desk were trying hard, but their inability to process our refund and the time taken to find us a new room left a sour taste.

The location is decent, right across from the beach, though our view was blocked by another building.
