noisy air conditioning rationed waffles

The air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine attempting takeoff. I nearly went deaf. the breakfast was a madhouse. They rationed waffles as if we were in a soviet-era breadline. it was a zoo. frankly. i expected slightly more tranquility
