Quality Bedrooms
The Watermill Inn has 8 en-suite bedrooms, including double, twin, single, and family rooms. Rooms include modern showers, local toiletries, luxury towels, complimentary tea and coffee, TV, and WiFi. Dogs are welcome in all rooms for £10 per dog per night with prior arrangement. Six double rooms are available, two with balconies and seating. Room 1 is a family room with a double bed, a single bed, and a pull-out single bed.

The Inn offers 11 real ales on traditional hand pulls. Many of the beers are brewed on-site in the micro brewery, viewable from the main bar area. Guests can sample chef's food. Oxenholme Station at Kendal is the nearest mainline railway station with an hourly shuttle train to Windermere. The 555 bus runs hourly between Lancaster, Kendal, Windermere, and Keswick, with a bus stop near The Watermill.
