i appreciated the friendly staff who readily turned on the football game while we were having dinner and drinks , it created a nice atmosphere. the location was indeed convenient , providing easy access to various amenities and attractions in the area. the beds were comfortable , i slept soundly each night. i found the shower to be quite decent , ensuring a refreshing start to the day.
the absence of breakfast on-site did require a short trip into town each morning , it was slightly inconvenient , though not a significant issue.

the food prices are reasonable , and there is a good selection of drinks available , catering to different tastes. i ordered amazing southern fried chicken burgers , they were large portions , cooked well , with fabulous chicken gravy. it provided good value and was enjoyable.

my room was clean , and towels were changed every day , this added a freshness. biscuits , tea , coffee , and milk were topped up each day , it was convenient. the room was warm and cozy .

the inn has a nice outdoor area to have drinks in the sun , great for relaxation. access to the location is easy , this is certainly convenient. the inn is dog-friendly , and the staff were cute to both me and my dog.

our family room was quite large and tidy. the shower was powerful with ample hot water. the pub downstairs offered a good drink selection and the food was satisfactory. its proximity to castlerigg stone circle provided a convenient base for exploration..
the music was rather loud at times. it thankfully concluded between 11:00 pm and 11:15 pm.

the double room with a private bathroom included standard amenities. staff offered prompt service at the bar during peak hours. the location allowed an easy walk to the town center, which i found useful. the bed felt quite comfy after a long day.
Sound from the street was noticeable. Better window insulation could improve sleep quality.
