a decent stay overall

spacious roomfriendly staffgreat locationlumpy pillowsclosed baruncozy seating
the room was pretty spacious, and i liked the separate toilet from the shower. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the location was amazing for my first trip to the country.
the pillows felt really lumpy, and it made it hard to get comfy at night. the bar downstairs was closed, a bummer because i wanted a nightcap. seating around the hotel wasn't very cozy either. we loved the pool. but the view was amazing!

mixed feelings about the stay

cramped roominadequate lighting
The room i was given, a superior double or twin room, felt smaller than expected. the space was a bit cramped for two people with luggage. i also found the lighting in the bathroom to be inadequate... it was quite dim and made it difficult to see well when getting ready. the shower temperature was also inconsistent. It fluctuated between hot and cold without warning, which wasn't a comfortable experience.
