Really good stay

chef shortbread fresh milk local ingredients
The room had charming, small touches. I discovered shortbread and a macaron made by the chef (such a treat!). A fridge stocked with fresh milk daily added convenience. Breakfast offered great choices, with local ingredients. Rooms sit across from the pub, accessible by narrow stairs that may pose challenges for those with mobility issues.
The car park looked full upon arrival. I needed assistance from the staff to arrange the cars, which caused a delay. I understand the location is central, though this affected parking.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included an extensive menu. I savored a fancy apple dessert that showed artistic presentation (the flavors were wonderful!). It was an experience worth remembering.
Location
10/10
The hotel stands at a close proximity to the city. The location is quiet offering easy access to the cathedral and city center, which provides an opportunity to explore on foot. I found it convenient for sightseeing.

Acceptable stay WITH some issues

lack of service unstocked supplies
The location is VERY good. The parking on site was a bonus.
The room was not serviced on the second day. This WAS disappointing. There was no top up of toilet rolls, coffee, or water, AND the bed wasn't made. I do not think it unreasonable at the price per night.
