A talented team of chefs makes the best use of the finest local and regional produce and ingredients. The menu features time-honoured classics, wines from around the world, a Champagne and cocktail bar, and a dance floor. Breakfast brings a buffet spread plus a choice of cooked dishes such as a full English, omelettes and avocado and poached eggs on sourdough. The lounges in the hotel are located on the ground floor where the surfaces are a mix of level wooden flooring, polished stone floors and carpeted areas in the lounge bar. The ground floor bar features a mixture of seating arrangements with low level coffee tables and seating ranging from soft deep cushioned to straight back chairs and sofas.

Events & Celebrations

ABode Chester runs events within Brasserie Abode, including Tipple Tasting Dinners, Wine Dinners, Live Music and Wedding Showcases. The Tattersalls Suite has floor-to-ceiling windows with racecourse views and a private outdoor terrace. It is licensed for civil ceremonies. Brasserie Abode Bar is available for exclusive hire for up to 120 people. Bespoke cocktail master classes are available. The Day Delegate Package includes equipment (projector, screen and flipcharts) and meeting room hire with BT Wi-Fi, arrival tea and coffee with fresh fruit and fresh juice, mid-morning tea and coffee with a snack, a hot and cold two course buffet lunch, afternoon tea and coffee with treats and iced water.

Location & Access

ABode Chester is 25 minutes' walk from Chester and 5 km from Chester Hawarden. The M53, M56, M6 and A483 provide links from Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and the South of England. Limited secure car parking is situated beneath the hotel operated by an intercom system. Chester Racecourse is a 10-minute walk and Chester's historic city centre is a 10-minute walk. High speed direct services between London Euston and Chester take approximately two hours.

There are lever taps on the sinks.

the receptionist was very friendly upon arrival. she offered us the use of the brasserie located on the 5th floor while we waited for our room. upon our return, we received a complimentary upgrade. the views across the racecourse were fabulous
the air conditioning unit in the bathroom was quite loud. it did disrupt my sleep slightly during the night

The staff are kind and they helped me quickly. the room has a hairdryer and an iron. It helps a lot. i appreciated there was complementary tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Bottled water costed £2.50. I dont like that if you dont drink tea or coffee.
