Acceptable stay, but some issues noted

The location met expectations because it was close to attractions.
I found the breakfast buffet rather LIMITED. The selection did not cater to varied dietary needs. I noticed also that the room had a distinct cigarette smell, QUITE off-putting. This was not the standard I expected.

the staff provided a free room upgrade. it was a nice start to my stay. all staff members were very cute and friendly, especially raymond. as a solo traveler, it.
The happy hour was restrictive. Being a minute late meant i missed out. there was no alternative food and drink service within the hotel, it was a bit disappointing. it's a minor point, but still noticeable.

the classic room had sufficient space for one person with a comfortable bed and a small desk. there were blackout curtains, which ensured a good night's sleep. a safe was available for storing valuables.

excellent stay in the city center
amazing staffquality breakfastdifficult parking
the staff provided an amazing welcome with complimentary drinks upon arrival. the room was nice and super clean. housekeeping was great. breakfast offered quality options to suit different tastes. the location was perfect with the duomo just a short walk away and many great restaurants nearby. staff were helpful and friendly. i can't think of a single negative aspect regarding this hotel. i would definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends and family.
car parking proved difficult and the hotel management didn't accept responsibility. they insisted their garage partner was professional, even after they returned the car with a damaged battery. they tried to cover this up by handing the car over with the engine running. we found out when we tried to restart the car at a service station on the autostrada.

the room included multiple daily cleaned towels and nightly turndown service with water and chocolate. the room was cleaned to a high standard, with great attention to detail. i enjoyed the bathtub and robe.

Location was pretty good. The breakfast included some options.
The room was way smaller than I expected. There was a distinct musty odor that bothered me . I tried using the in-room safe, but it did not work, pretty inconvenient.
