a serene escape with unmatched views

the rooftop area is the heart of this hotel. the bar, restaurant, and swimming pool combine for a relaxing experience and showcase the city. i found the location to be conveniently situated near attractions (it was a beautiful walk to the ponte vecchio).
i noticed some minor wear in the hallway carpets.

The reception staff provided excellent service. I enjoyed the rooftop pool. The area was just outside the main sites but an easy walk into them. The restaurant was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the fillet steak. Though it was not combined with the pate combination I anticipated.
The noise isolation was not adequate. I could hear the sounds of chairs moving on the tiled floor at various hours. I could hear the German guest next door coughing as if he were in my room. I found it disruptive. Though I understand the hotel's historical value.

My room featured a nice balcony. It was amazing! The rooftop pool had city views. Breakfast offered variety and tasted really good, so I ate a lot.
My room lacked soundproofing. I heard loud noises as other guests dragged chairs. Sleeping was really difficult because of that.

I appreciate the kindness of the personnel. The restaurant located on the fifth floor offers amazing views. I liked that breakfast choices are varied and delicious. Dinners were some of the best food I had. The staff shows friendliness and offers support.
I found mosquitoes in the room. I did not speak up right away. I noticed a device to deal with mosquitoes, but I did not know what it was for. In future, I will report this issue sooner.

The triple room was spacious. i loved the rooftop heated pool. It was a real bonus. every staff member i encountered was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. the views from the terrace outside the restaurant were lovely. it was a treat to start each day with such tasty food.
There was slight noise from nearby rooms.
