the premium king room was spacious and very clean. i found the bed comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel's refurbishment is beautiful, showing real improvements. the bar and restaurant looked inviting.
the water in the bathroom took a long time to heat up. this was a minor inconvenience, but noticeable. it would be good if this was quicker.

the breakfast offered a lot of choices and the sitting areas, both inside and out, looked nice. the function room looked beautiful. there was excellent entertainment by a musician, a really nice addition.

the hotel's location is great, very close to walks along the promenade. it is also near to get into town. the seafront walk is a definite plus.

The stairs to the rooms are a bit narrow. It might be tricky with large suitcases.
