long waiting times out of service elevators
the staff was helpful when i checked in.
The elevators were a significant issue. Waiting times often exceeded 15 minutes. this was compounded by the fact that several elevators were out of service (i think they were being rebuilt). using the stairs was not a realistic option, as my room was on a high floor.

The room provided an oceanfront view I found relaxing. Late pool hours allowed for evening swims. The valet service helped me with my car quickly. I appreciated the helpful concierge who stored my luggage.
The entryway to my room had no lighting.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast at a price. I thought it provided a wide selection of choices, from hot items to pastries, and was conveniently located near the lobby, I didn't have to search for it.

The hotel features a pool though it is not heated. This could be a consideration during cooler months. The gym includes a variety of equipment for cardio and strength training. Elevators provide access to higher floors.

The location was right across from a lagoon and near the convention center. Many restaurants are within walking distance, so I did not have to drive. Direct beach access is available from the hotel.

cabana room perfect food starbucks barista
The cabana room was as expected. the food from don rico's was cooked perfectly. chef brandon at don rico's knows how to cook well! miriam, the starbucks barista, was very sweet and kind. She makes excellent lattes.
Elevators were scarce. guest room furniture was worn. bed linens were torn. the countertop mini-fridge was on the floor!

the cabana room included standard amenities such as a king-sized bed, a seating area, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean. the room had a coffee maker and a mini-refrigerator.

Miriam, the starbucks barista, provided friendly service. She was always cheerful and helpful. the front desk staff was responsive. They addressed inquiries promptly. the restaurant staff ensured timely order delivery.

Wow, This Place Is Awesome!

I got a ocean view room. It's amazing. The beach access is super easy. I liked the restaurants at the hotel. They are very convenient. The staff was always friendly. They were quick when I needed extra towels. I love that!
The elevators sometimes took a little longer than I like.
