Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Kingsmills Hotel is often praised for its large, clean, and quiet rooms, some even described as luxurious and reminiscent of staying in a castle. The breakfast receives positive feedback for its variety, including options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions; though a few guests have mentioned a lack of variety at times. Guests appreciate the swimming pool and whisky bar, and the convenience of free parking, with the town centre being a pleasant 15-20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away.

Acceptable Stay with Room Issues

good room sizetired decorpool cleanliness
The room was OK the breakfast was average the size of the room was good
The bedroom decor seemed tired when I compared it to the modern en-suite I saw upon arrival and noticed the waste bin had not been emptied. Attention to detail is needed I think. The spa and swimming pool area seemed to need more regular cleaning. I saw that the female changing area was dirty because people wore muddy outdoor shoes and the poolside tiles were dirty due to patrons walking poolside in outdoor footwear.
