the family room was spacious and clean it included bunk beds slightly separated from the main bed. the room was to have been recently updated with good blackout curtains. breakfast offered a great range of options and the staff was attentive.
i noticed some marks on the walls which suggested wear and tear.

the hotel provided good access to various facilities including a leisure center. the swimming pool was a highlight for our family and it was well kept. an indoor playground catered well to our toddler.

the location was excellent providing easy access to nearby shops. it was within walking distance of various restaurants and bars on the main street. the hotel's proximity to local attractions made travel simple.

the reception staff provided excellent service . the pool had a fun wave machine and provided lots of inflatable toys. breakfast included a varied and plentiful selection of food. i particularly appreciated the tasty cakes provided in the room to accompany tea.
the hotel had a slightly outdated feel, though this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.

the train station is nearby. access to local attractions is very convenient! the hotel is near the town center. this made exploring the area very simple.

old decormissing fridge
i found my room to be a bit of a letdown. the decor felt quite old , it reminded me of the 70s. there was no fridge or bottled water , and even basic things like decaf tea were missing , it was disappointing.

The breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. I also liked that the family room was great for the kids (they really enjoyed the bunk beds).
I was disappointed that the restaurant at the hotel is closed due to the chef leaving. We did not get notified of this before arrival. Our room was a bit tired looking. There was hair in the shower.
