the hotel's location was acceptable, providing easy access to nearby attractions.
I found the room decor rather tired and worn. there was also noise from adjacent rooms, difficult to relax at times. the view from my window overlooked a rusty staircase and an unkempt area. This was not appealing.

The location is superb!!! i could walk to ferry, rail and bus links in two minutes. shops and restaurants are very close by. the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. They let me leave my luggage after checkout.
The room booked was a superior double, but it felt more like a shoebox. the hotel is quite old. It could benefit from a complete refurbishment.

I liked that the breakfast had MANY options , including haggis. The staff was helpful . They answered all my questions about local attractions. The shower pressure impressed me , it was strong and consistent. The location proved convenient for accessing shops and the ferry port.
I noticed the kettle needed A thorough cleaning before I felt comfortable using it.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The location was central, convenient for exploring the town. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. The hotel offered easy and cheap street parking, a bonus.
The decor looked a little dated and could benefit from some updating.
