a decent hotel stay

our room had a view of the loch. the bathroom was modern with a walk-in shower, and that was great.
i requested a quiet room, but room 25 was above the kitchen. bottles were noisy in recycling bins, and there was constant noise until after 10 pm.

i really enjoyed my stay. the staff was friendly and efficient. the room was spacious with nice views. i liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom, a bonus i didn't expect.
the bar service was slow on one evening.

the hotel has a good position overlooking loch with well kept gardens. the views from the hotel were beautiful. there are a number of beautiful lochs in the area.

Really good Hospitality at Its BEST!!!

The staff extended a warm welcome and demonstrated excellent accommodation. The room featured tasteful decor and a supremely comfortable bed. The food was AMAZING!!! We were blown away by the very nice flavors. They provided a good experience, and we anticipate returning for another stay.
The absence of a mini fridge in the room was a slight inconvenience. I found it would have been useful for storing drinks and snacks. This feature would greatly enhance the comfort and convenience of future stays.

The hotel offers a VERY secluded and calm setting near the water. Guests can take advantage of the easily accessible location for wedding venues. There are gorgeous views of the surrounding garden.

The check-in process was wonderfully cute and efficient. Staff members helped with luggage and provided room orientation. One staff member arranged an early breakfast for an early departure, showing true customer service.

mixed bag experience
fresh running waterstaff comment
The water situation was odd. I found out upon arrival the water wasn't exactly fresh. they gave me bottled water for drinking, even for brushing my teeth which i thought was a bit much. also, a fire alarm blared, and nobody was at reception, nor in the bar to say what was happening. a staff member finally showed up saying she peeked down the hall, saw nobody, and thought breakfast was more important, which didn't exactly inspire confidence.
