the staff were very friendly and the room was quite convenient. free parking proved to be a really nice bonus to the whole experience. i found the room had everything i needed and the shower was really good.

the location was superb. the pub is situated a short walk to the city centre. it made exploring the city very easy. a weatherspoons is conveniently located across from the pub.

the pub offers good food. i ordered the canacotta pizza. the base was crisp and had plenty of topping. fresh rocket finished it off very well. a couple of pints of madri made a great start to the afternoon.

The staff was friendly. They looked after my luggage all day until I traveled home on the train. I checked out late, and they were accommodating about it!!!
The stairs were a little narrow to take the luggage.

the SHOWER needs a deep clean, the inside is very scummy.

The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful. The food was great. I particularly enjoyed the Canacotta pizza, it had a crisp base. The fresh rocket on top provided a great finish.
The wifi signal was weak and intermittent. This was an issue for planning activities. The room was small. The bathroom was even tinier.

the location was close to some city attractions. the tea and coffee tray in the room was good. it was a very short walk from the car to the room.
The room i had was accessed via an external steel staircase. it felt more like a fire escape. It was not ideal. the wifi signal was terrible, so i struggled to connect. there was no view from my window. one window at height had no curtain.
