I enjoyed the hotel's amazing location right by the river. The team at the hotel WAS friendly, remembering what drinks we ordered. They were always available to help out. The room was large and well-equipped. The fine views and provided toiletries were a great touch.
The staff seemed too casual in their new uniforms. I found it hard to distinguish who was staff and who was a gardener. There were no menus brought to the table, and I had to get drinks myself. It wasn't that busy, but there was a corporate event on.

the room included cowshed toiletries which i found good the king sized bed was very comfortable i also enjoyed the welcome cookie and snack box i found in the room the grounds were beautiful with trees lit up at night.

The grounds looked like a movie set the river view was great.
The towels reminded me of sandpaper labels advertised security tags I felt nickel and dimed. Weeds grew through paths breakfast service was disorganized dirty cups piled up at the table. I had to ask for a menu.

The setting on the river is beautiful! The staff were kind. I especially enjoyed the man working at the restaurant, he loved dogs. The grounds are fine.
The spa is small and dated.
