underwhelming stay

the location was decent and convenient for accessing the beach.
The room felt very cramped. i booked a double but the space was minimal. the breakfast was also subpar. The bacon was overcooked and the eggs were underdone. there were also flies buzzing around the dining area, not appealing.

Fantastic Stay Near the Sea

I loved the room, it had crisp white bedding with many pillows. The electric heater was great as a backup to the radiators (a nice touch!). The room came equipped with a TV plus tea and coffee making facilities. The location is perfect. I had easy access to the nearby path leading to the sandy beach right across the road.
The dinner menu could use a bit more variety. I wish there were more choices available.

I found the food in the restaurant downstairs to be very good and satisfying. Breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). A good gluten free food selection was present even though there wasn't a huge range.

The location proved very convenient. It's close to the beach, made access easy. The proximity to the bus stop right in front of the hotel allowed for effortless trips to nearby areas.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and very cute to my dog (a big plus!). The manager was lovely and accommodated my buggy storage request. I experienced excellent service from all bar and restaurant staff.

the family room was spacious and had everything we needed! the bedding felt amazing, super soft and clean. i loved that the location was directly opposite the beach! it was so easy to just pop over whenever we wanted!!!
the shower pressure was a little low, a minor inconvenience.

the hotel features easy access to a sandy beach located directly across the road. there is also a convenient lift service available a short walk along the front for easy access up and down the cliff for those who prefer not to climb.
