Surprised By My Lovely Visit

interesting buildingnice groundslovely stafffantastic room
I found Stanbrook Abbey a very cool hotel. The buildings are quite interesting, and the grounds are so nice. The staff were lovely, too. I upgraded to a Junior Suite for an extra cost, and it was a fantastic room. The room was very large and spacious, I enjoyed it muchly.
The carpets in the room looked very dirty. I also found a massive spider and cobwebs in our bathroom. It was very minor, though.
Service
10/10
The reception staff was warm and cute from check-in to check-out. They were so polite and efficient with service during breakfast, too. All of the staff were friendly and provided very positive service .

Really good stay in a historic building

The grounds provided ample space for exploration both indoors and outdoors. I discovered a charming flower rope swing near the willow lake. A public roof terrace on the second floor offered countryside views. The provided suite was spacious with character.
The website's depiction of available facilities seemed slightly inaccurate.
