Unique Adult-Only Pods
The Little Hide - Adult Only Camping Pods provides camping pods, a Cabin, and a Nomadic Yurt. The pods have zip-and-link beds, usable as a king or twin bed setup. The Cabin has a double bed. The Yurt includes a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Each unit includes bedding, linen, and scatter cushions. Guests should bring their own towels, cups, drinks, barbecue coals, and wood for fire baskets.
Onsite Cafe
Willow Farm Cafe is on site, and supplies takeaway breakfasts, farmhouse breakfasts and lunches. There are grills for use. Guests need to bring their own camping stove if they want to cook, and coals for the grills. Also, Willow Farm Cafe sells Little Hide Cups.
Activities and Facilities
Guests can use the shared shower blocks and toilets. A washer and tumble dryer are available. There are 3 ponds, a wooded area, and a beck for walks. There is a washing-up area, a fridge shack with fridges and freezers, an iron and ironing board in the laundry, and a microwave and toaster in the fridge shack. Guests may cycle, birdwatch, and explore the area.
Location and Access
The Little Hide is on Wigginton Rd, off the A1237 York Outer Ring Road, minutes from York. Landmarks nearby include Rawcliffe Lake (2 km), Rawcliffe Park (3 km), Moorlands Woodland Nature Reserve (3 km), and Nether Poppleton Tithebarn (4 km). The Little Hide is 20 minutes by car from York and 50 km from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Essential Services
Reception is available for enquiries between Monday-Saturday 09:00-18:00. There is Wi-Fi, with the code 'holidays'. Dogs are permitted in some pods, and must be kept on a lead. There is a dedicated BBQ area and an onsite bus stop, with regular bus service into the city.
