check-in was straightforward. i received two key cards and opted out of daily housekeeping (i got a free drink voucher). my room was on the seventh floor. it was very spacious with a lovely bathroom including a powerful shower.

non-functional phone loud noises
I encountered a non-functional phone in my room, a significant inconvenience. loud noises in the corridor disrupted my sleep. Constant door slamming began around 8 or 9 am. the concierge barely acknowledged my complaint at checkout, saying 'sorry about that'.

The bed was very comfortable. Instructions for the heating and air conditioning were clear. A huge TV was in the room. The room also included tea, coffee, biscuits, and Elemis products. The reception staff were very helpful.
The room could have used slightly better soundproofing, as some street noise was noticeable during peak hours.

the room had a fridge, it was useful.
