The room was spacious and very clean. The location was excellent and close to many amenities. I really enjoyed the riverside walks, so CLOSE to the river.
The staff at the pub were not proactive. The gluten free options were awful. Getting the breakfast correct took the staff three attempts. It was disappointing.

parking chargethin walls
the parking situation caused me some stress. i received a parking charge notice even after paying at the hotel. it took some effort to resolve the issue, a proper resolution and confirmation would have been greatly appreciated. the room felt a little dated. the walls seemed quite thin, as i could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room. it made it difficult to relax at times.

convenient stay near the river

i found the location amazing a short walk over the bridge took me right into town the restaurant offered evening meals breakfast and a bar with a great menu the hotel's large car park behind the building made parking easy for me. the room was a good size it had a view of the garden and the river a definite plus the bed was comfortable and i appreciated the good shower.

my room included a fridge offering a convenient space to store drinks or snacks the layout of the room provided a comfortable amount of space to move around the windows were well-insulated which kept the room quiet during the night. a comfortable bed was included.
