The Cavendish London is highly praised for its superb location, being minutes away from St James, Piccadilly, and Saville Row, as well as a quick walk to Piccadilly Circus Tube station, making it ideal for West End shopping, sights, and theatre. Guests often appreciate the spacious rooms and bathrooms, particularly the effective air conditioning. A Solid Stay Near Piccadilly!

adjustable air conditioningconvenient proximityclean roomsoundproofing issue
The adjustable air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver . I found the proximity to major sights convenient. Most were within walking distance. I liked how clean the room was upon arrival.
I found that the soundproofing wasn't great, and I could hear noise from neighboring rooms at times.
Facilities
9/10
The air conditioning system had individual temperature controls, a feature I always appreciate. There was a small business center available with two computers and a printer. The hotel also provided complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the premises.
Rooms
8/10
My room included a mini-fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. I was also provided with a bathrobe and slippers. The bed had four pillows that ensured a comfortable night's sleep.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of pastries and hot dishes. The restaurant offered a prix fixe menu for lunch and dinner. I saw that there was also a bar, and it seemed to be offering a variety of cocktails.

Central Stay Done Right

convenient locationhelpful staff
The location proved convenient. Sky TV was available in my room. I found the front desk staff helpful with directions.
My room lacked an accessible electrical outlet near the bed. This was slightly inconvenient.
Location
9/10
The hotel stands across from Fortnum & Mason. This places it close to many attractions and essential amenities. Several bus stops are within a short, two-minute walk. The tube station is about five minutes away.

The location was convenient, near public transport and attractions. Breakfast had some decent options, I suppose.
My "Executive Double Room" was surprisingly small. The room seemed quite dated and worn, not the luxury experience I anticipated. It needed updating. I found the noise from neighboring rooms to be disruptive at night. It definitely affected my sleep.

adequate stay with breakfast issues

convenient locationbreakfast qualitytable setup
the location was indeed convenient for seeing the city.
Breakfast was a letdown! the eggs were not cooked as ordered, and the buffet items seemed like they had been sitting out for too long. also, it took a while to get basic things like cups and milk. The tables weren't properly set.

Acceptable Stay

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, near restaurants and places of interest. I had a lovely clean room with a coffee machine, a mini fridge, and a mini safe locker.
There were no overhead lights in the room, so it was dark. There were also no plug sockets next to the bed. The noise from neighboring rooms was audible, I could hear conversations and the television.
