Acceptable stay, in need of upgrades

unmaintained guttering missing refrigerator
The room I booked, a superior classic inland room, presented a disappointing view. The windows overlooked an inner part of the building. The guttering seemed unmaintained for years. This lack of upkeep detracted from the experience. I was also surprised by the absence of a refrigerator in the room. I believe this should be standard, especially considering the hotel's rating.
