“I found The Waterman to be a smart choice that balances pub tradition with refreshed hotel facilities. Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Waterman enjoys a fantastic location near Midsummer Common and Jesus Green, making the city centre easily accessible with just a short walk to the centre, often described as a pleasant stroll through a nice park. Many guests found the rooms comfortable and quiet, equipped with handy amenities like a kettle, teas, and coffee, while the bathrooms are lovely and complete with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Though some guests in front-facing rooms have noted street noise due to thin glazing, the lively and attractive pub downstairs with its excellent location is a highlight for many.

Okay Stay at This Spot

comfy bedlovely linengorgeous bathroomsmall roomdirty toilethigh price
I booked a beautiful double room and it was great. The bed have super comfy with lovely linen. I saw a gorgeous bathroom with fluffy towels. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was great, too.
The room was small. The toilet was very dirty. There were wires hanging outside the window which tapped the window in the wind. I found the price for the room too high.
