The resort is located on the north end of South Beach. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The live music in the lobby bar each evening was AMAZING!!! The hotel is also dog friendly, that's a plus. There was also a short walk to the beach where complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas were provided.
I found that the rooms were very small. The rooftop pool was disappointing. I got upgraded, but the bathroom was still so small, the door had to be shut to even fit in there. This was not what I expected.

The hotel's location proved convenient.
My stay wasn't fantastic. The assigned room had a noticeable damp smell. The furniture upholstery featured stains and hair. These conditions detracted from the overall experience.

i liked the live music in the lobby a lot. local artists played, and it made the atmosphere very nice. the staff were also very helpful, especially when i needed something extra.
The room i had was very small, it wasn't really what i expected given the price. also, the old tap in the shower didn't give cold water properly. It was fixed a bit, but it never really worked right.

i stayed in a king room. the hotel provided beach chairs and umbrellas for use. the rooftop pool area offered good views of the surroundings.
The elevators were sometimes slow. I found myself waiting a few extra minutes.
