A simple stay close to the music.

Monica was very helpful. The location worked well. It's close to local music venues. I found easy parking, a plus. The room was clean, although some redecorating is happening (i noticed painters at work).
The hotel corridors smelled faintly of smoke. It was a slight nuisance.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful when I checked in. She quickly addressed my questions regarding local amenities and directions, and she was available whenever i needed something.

Parking was free and easy to find at the back of the hotel, that was a HUGE relief. There was Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. I was able to work from my room with no issues (that's important).

The breakfast included basic options. I had eggs and toast. The service was prompt and the food was well-prepared (i especially enjoyed the coffee!). The dining area was clean.

My room included a comfortable bed, it was a decent size. The bathroom had a bath. I found a microwave in the room, a nice bonus. It was useful for heating up snacks.

i found the staff friendly and cute . the breakfast offered a good start to the day and was tasty. the location was very convenient for my needs, being close to the cricket ground.
the decor seemed a little dated.
