A Suite stay to remember

the staff greeted us with such warmth. Staying in the hudson suite, i found the views amazing. the room upgrade for our honeymoon was a completely unexpected, good surprise. i particularly appreciated the easy access to transportation.
i did notice some street noise occasionally, though it seemed more pronounced during the weekend hours.

the hotel has a small eatery for quick snacks , while several restaurants reside within easy walking distance. options included Italian , american , and several ethnic food choices , all available nearby.

the location is near times square, so it was easy to get around. i thought the rate was fair for the location. my room was very spacious. the staff was helpful when i needed directions.
there was some street noise at night.

the room was quite spacious , particularly excellent for this city. i appreciated the friendly staff and their helpfulness. the hotel's location near the cruise terminal was a real plus ,making it convenient for my travel plans.
the gym access felt a little underwhelming for the resort fee paid.

the hudson vu , located on the 16th floor , serves food and drinks from 4 pm. reservations are required , and there is a $50 charge for no-shows or cancellations. i found myself waiting 40 minutes to place an order after being seated.

I found a large soaking tub in my room. I also appreciated the very large room for the city standards. The location was excellent. It was close to many restaurants and the Hudson River. The free coffee in the lobby was beneficial.
There were no coffee-making facilities in the room. I had to request them. The request for coffee top-up was not fulfilled . That was disappointing.

my room, a king studio city view, had ample space. high ceilings added to the room's spaciousness, i noticed. i was also impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms.
The hotel bar with rooftop terrace caused a lot of noise in my room, 1703, until 2 am! the reception staff acted like they had never heard of it before. the shower also did not work properly. I found this unacceptable for the price.

Rooftop Bar is the Highlight!!!

I chose this place for a stay. I had a lovely, spacious, and clean room on the 5th floor. The rooftop bar on the 16th floor was the best part of my stay. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was AMAZING!!! I got the steak, and it was top class.
I wasn't too keen on the breakfast served. The buttermilk pancakes were dry and tasteless.
