attractive groundsslow room servicedisappointing activity
the hotel grounds were attractive and well kept (i did appreciate the landscaping).
I found the room service surprisingly slow. It took a long time for someone to answer the phone when i wanted to place an order. the food quality was average, especially considering the high prices. the pools also seemed smaller than i anticipated, and the planned activities were a bit disappointing for a hotel of this alleged caliber.

The onsite Universal shop sold HHN tshirts and lanyards. The service there was AMAZING!!! The water transportation made it painless to get to Universal. Water coolers existed everywhere for guest convenience.
The fitness center requires navigating mazes to reach it.

the boat trip to the parks was quite convenient. it saved some WALKING.
i am disappointed that my room's ONLY window was covered in plastic because of the massive ongoing remodel. the noise lasted from nine am to six pm every day.

Excellent Stay Near the Parks

The hotel is convenient to Universal Studios. The water taxi made transport simple. I enjoyed the comfy beds, TOO. The hotel provided water coolers, useful after long days.
The fitness center was difficult to access. I had to navigate a maze of hallways and elevators. The gym itself was rather disappointing.

the water taxi offered convenient transport to the parks. staff were friendly. my room had comfortable beds. i also bought hhn t-shirts at the universal shop on site the service was excellent.
i noticed a slight smell of cannabis in the corridor.
