the location was acceptable it was a short walk to the theatre.
the steam room was out of order that was disappointing. the sauna also had issues it was not working as expected. i mentioned this to the receptionist but i did not receive a follow-up response.

the hotel location was convenient for walking into the town centre
i found the room decor quite dated and uninspired the tv placement was awkward being off to the side of the bed this made it difficult to watch comfortably also there was no complimentary water in the room a small detail that i missed

the hotel had a grand, old-world interior. spacious and comfortable rooms were available. the staff were excellent and addressed my needs promptly.
i found the spa disappointing. it seemed more like a community pool than a relaxing retreat. the doors to the spa area looked dirty with old signage not properly removed.
