“The Midland strikes me as a visually arresting Art Deco landmark overlooking Morecambe Bay; inside, I see dining experiences helmed by Roux-trained chefs. While one recent report suggests some inconsistent service, I think its blend of seaside charm and stylish rooms ultimately wins out. This could be a special place for a weekend escape.”
