A breakfast hamper is delivered to your door between 8am and 9am, priced at £3.50 per person. It includes a bacon or sausage/vegetarian option, cereal bar, and fruit juice. Refreshments are available in the breakfast room during the day. The breakfast room is open in the evening for guests to eat take away meals until 8pm. A hot sausage is added at no extra cost for dogs when their owners order a breakfast basket. For stays over 2 nights, optional room service is available.

Schofield Guest House features a piano, dolls' house, and self-service refreshments and snacks. A map of dog walks and dog-friendly cafes/bars/restaurants within walking distance is provided. Dogs can go on all Beaches from October until end of April. Pets must be kept on a lead in shared areas. The property is a strictly no smoking building. There is a fire test every Sunday at 10:30am, lasting no more than 10 seconds. Guests assemble on Marshall Avenue, opposite the guest house, in case of a fire. Schofield Guest House can host events. I found the premises to be impeccably clean and tidy. The room provided everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The guest house maintained a quiet atmosphere after 9pm, greatly respected. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
The bed sheet felt somewhat worn. this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.

The shower was quite dated. The curtain seemed old. I found no suitable place for toiletries except the floor. The stairs are steep. They could pose a problem for some guests.

i booked this place pretty spontaneously and was not disappointed. pauline helped me a lot with a parking pass. i found the room clean with everything i needed.
the sheet on the bed felt quite worn, i didn't find it very comfy. the doors were heavy and slammed shut loudly on all rooms. it could be softer.
