comfortable bed linens thoughtful staff skyscraper view
The room service delivered onion soup quickly. It was AMAZING!!! The location allows easy access to many tourist sites. The bed linens were comfortable and high quality. The staff were thoughtful and very kind . I enjoyed the suite, it had an iconic skyscraper view. I cannot wait to book again!!!
The check-in desk is located far from the front door, which caused some initial confusion.

an oasis of charm
central location comfortable bed prompt response familiar touch
The location impressed me. It was central to everything i wanted to see! the room featured a king-size bed. it gave great comfort, and i appreciated the prompt response when i requested extra foam pillows. nick and meti at bar gaby remembered us, and it added a familiar touch to our stay.
The absence of a coffee maker or kettle in the room required a request. there were only bottled water provided. It was never replenished.

Breakfast had a delicious french press of coffee for each guest, a lovely personal touch that i savored. i also enjoyed a dinner. It came with great cocktails, and the kids' mac and cheese used real cheese, a quality touch.

the front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and i felt very welcomed. housekeeping did an amazing job, and the bellmen were kind. this attentiveness created an atmosphere of genuine care.

The location proved convenient. The hotel provided generous room sizes. The staff exhibited friendliness and helpfulness .
I observed that the room was tired. Some damages suggested a lack of attention. There was no complimentary water, coffee, or tea in the room (a basic amenity).

mixed feelings about this stay
old furniture broken fridge
the room felt old. the furniture had cracks. stains were visible. also, the fridge did not work, and i had to ask multiple times for assistance to unlock it. it took a very long time for someone to come, and by then, the food i stored in it had spoiled.

easy walk dessert option unmet request basic requirement
The location was superb for attending an event nearby It was an easy walk. I also dined in the hotel restaurant where the staff suggested several options for dinner. The crème brûlée I had for dessert was nice.
My requests made well before my arrival were not fully met. I requested coffee making facilities but they were not there when I checked in. It seems these basic requirements need requesting in the first place.
