good lighting comfortable beds
I stayed in a Twin Room. It had good lighting and comfortable beds. I found the staff helpful and polite, providing quick responses to requests.
The television remote in my room had a weak signal. It required multiple attempts to change channels, a bit annoying.

Quiet Elegance and Really good Service

traditional restaurant scottish elegance excellent mattress
i loved the traditional restaurant and lounge area (especially the shortbread biscuits!). the staff greeted me with tea and coffee upon my early arrival, such a beautiful welcome gesture. my upgraded suite featured exquisite scottish elegance and nice furnishings. the quality of my sleep was excellent due to the excellent mattress.
the absence of a reception desk upon entering was a little confusing.

fantastic stay!

friendly staff extra mile great food great service
the staff went out of their way! they helped us feel welcome, and they even helped us get our luggage upstairs to our rooms! the food was great (especially the pancakes!). accommodations and service were also great.
The minibar was slightly overpriced. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I didn't expected the room to be in a building across a busy road. Breakfast and dinner required crossing the street. I also found the room lacked a wardrobe. Only coat hangers existed.
