unique touch great decor comfortable bed friendly staff
my room had unique touches. decor was great. bed was comfortable. i even found a nice bluetooth speaker there. staff i spoke to were the most warm i have ever met. if you visit the tap room i recommend the dragon fries.
some records were scratched.

the hotel is conveniently located near key attractions. the train station is within walking distance. gardens and shops are also nearby. access to transportation and various points of interest makes the location ideal.

the hotel bar had a wide range of beers. i saw the breakfast area offered many choices. the hotel even provided friendship bracelet station. water was available from taps, with both normal and sparkling options provided.

i enjoyed the guitar located within the room i also found the reasonably priced minibar very satisfying it was well stocked the shower beer package met my expectations.

Really good Hotel Experience
free breakfast attentive staff
I liked the free breakfast that included tasty food. There were plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere was very lively and fun. The staff were attentive making the experience even better.
The room felt a little too hot to sleep properly. I couldn't adjust the thermostat.

The hotel locates near the main attractions. Saint Andrews Square and the Castle are within short walking distance. It is right on the Royal Mile. It is easy to walk everywhere from there.

Really good Stay, A Beer Lover's Paradise
record player beer fridge free drink helpful staff
The room featured a record player with albums and a beer fridge in the shower (what a treat!). I enjoyed the free drink upon arrival. I liked that the hotel promotes environmental consciousness. Staff members were helpful and friendly.
I noticed some dust in hard to reach places, but it was not really an issue.

Breakfast choices were diverse and appealing. The bar stays open providing a spot for socialising. I found the food quality great.

The room size was generous. It featured a well-stocked minibar (I especially liked the beer selection). The bed was comfortable. I appreciated the presence of two televisions.

shower mold excessive noise
the location proved convenient as a base for exploring.
i found the cleanliness lacking, specifically the bathroom. there was visible mold in the shower area and around the sink. also, the noise from the street was excessive, disrupting sleep on two of the three nights.
