museum district find

stylish decorcoffee machinewater stains
I found the decor to be very stylish! the charcuterie and wine in the afternoon was a lovely touch. the coffee machine made any kind of coffee drink i wanted. This was always available. other snacks throughout the day! the location was excellent, just one block away from the museum complex.
the room was not very soundproof. i thought the bathroom looked very budget, and it wasn't that clean. there were water stains on the ceiling and floor. i also found the staff to be a little unfriendly, and not very apologetic for the late check-in.
Rooms
8/10
the medium room had a double bed. it included usb ports on both sides! drapes effectively blocked light from outside. the bathroom contained a double sink, really useful.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel featured a lift, so luggage transport was easy. a bar downstairs provided top shelf liquors, and guests could help themselves. a cozy reading area was available. the fitness center had equipment to get in a good workout.
Service
9/10
the staff assisted with check-in and provided hotel orientation. they were generally helpful. they have a 'help yourself' bar with both alcohol and non alcohol drinks too!
Location
10/10
the location is central and close to destinations, but still away from crowds. the hotel sits one block from the museum complex. it is in an upscale residential neighborhood. the area is safe and perfect for visits.

some issues need attention

cramped roomworn shower curtain
The room felt quite cramped. the space between the bed and the bathroom was minimal, a real challenge to navigate. also, the shower lacked proper protection. The worn shower curtain allowed water to soak the entire bathroom floor after each use. these details impacted my overall comfort.
