the reception staff were lovely and helpful. the lift had a glaswegian accent, this gave me a giggle! the room tray provided was generously stocked too.
the room needed some updating. the bathroom design was somewhat flawed concerning the shower. the heating was also rather noisy.

The location was good. It made getting around fairly easy (especially because the tram stop was really close).
The room was quite worn. The bathroom especially showed its age (I noticed mould in some spots!). an overnight dripping sound kept me awake for a while. It sounded like faulty guttering.

the staff was friendly and very helpful . the room was nice with unique decor and an amazing view of the water. i appreciated the hotel upgrade with a free bottle of prosecco and ice bucket.
the postcode in the sat nav took me to a private road, and this prevented easy access to the hotel.

the staff provided attentive service and addressed needs quickly. hannah offered great service during breakfast, and the reception staff were also helpful on check-in. david provided a tasty dinner and excellent service.
