outrageous coffee cost unwelcoming atmosphere
the lobby was indeed magnificent and quite excellent.
The cost of coffee in the room was outrageous at $16 (i reminded me of i was being robbed). very stern signs warned of a $50 fee for even opening the refrigerator. It felt unwelcoming.

excellent stay
room upgrade diverse food
i had heard many good things and this trip was great. the check-in was slow however, my room got upgraded. being connected to the convention center made getting to sessions easy. i enjoyed the diverse food and the pool look amazing.
the ice machine broke. the only way to get ice was wait for delivery or go to the bar. the area near the casino elevators had a toilet smell all week.

the room had a king bed and a seating area. the bathroom included separate shower and tub. towels were soft and changed daily and the air conditioning worked well.

the staff helped with directions and information. bell service was fast and efficient for luggage. housekeeping kept everywhere clean and well stocked. the concierge provided helpful tips for local attractions.

the hotel has several dining choices. a steakhouse provides high-end dining and casual options are also there. a buffet has a variety of food. a coffee shop in the lobby makes getting morning coffee convenient.

The pools down below seemed nice. There was also a salon. I finally walked out to the main sidewalk.
Everything seemed like an extra charge. I asked for extra cups and was told even plastic cups would cost extra. The weights room also required an extra charge for use.

the hotel's cleanliness impressed me. the room was immaculate. the monorail access provided convenient transport a mile down the road. there were lots of food options within the premises.

strip view dining options
The strip view was fine! i could see all the vibrant lights at night and the planes taking off (so cool!). plus, i really enjoyed the variety of dining options available right in the hotel.
I found the check-in process a little slow and crowded, so definitely factor in some extra time when you arrive. It was a bit of a wait.

The room included a very large king bed and a seating area by the window. It was perfect. i also noticed the soundproofing was good (i did not hear any noise). the bathroom featured a separate tub and shower stall.

The staff were helpful when i asked for directions to the nearby casino. They pointed me right where i needed to go! also, housekeeping kept the room very tidy. I appreciated that. i did not need to ask for anything extra.

I enjoyed the variety of restaurants. The seafood restaurant was especially good (the sushi was fresh!). there was also a casual cafe with pastries. I visited it every morning! i found the prices reasonable for the quality.
