Larger double rooms include a sofa bed, for families of up to 2 adults and 2 children under 12, with a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pond, and a corner bath. Twin rooms are in the main building, with two single beds. Cottage double rooms, located 100 yards from the main hotel via the car park, are larger and uniquely decorated. Executive rooms in the 18th-century Manor House feature either a four-poster or sleigh bed, plus a shower and bath. The Francis Moore Suite, on the first floor of the Manor House, includes a four-poster bedroom and living room with sofas, a dining table, chairs, and a TV. Standard amenities available in all rooms include: Ironing facilities, Heating, Tea and coffee facilities, AM/FM alarm clock, Direct dial telephone.

The hotel team proved helpful. I found them knowledgeable. The food tasted excellent. My room was clean. It was a lovely experience! The young barman made a super Aperol Spritz.

I found that the hotel charged for parking, despite the cost of the rooms.

Every staff member offered friendly and helpful assistance. The receptionist proved funny and accommodating. Terri in the restaurant deserves special recognition, as she provided attentive service and explained the menu in detail.

I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. they arranged for soya milk in my room, and an iron with ironing board were promptly delivered. i appreciated the peaceful setting. I sat next to the waterfall in the sunshine.

my room was not serviced on one of the days, inconvenient. i had to request replacement tea and coffee, and make my own bed. also, there's no free parking at the hotel, a drawback.
