amazing seafront stay!
warm welcome helpful info delicious breakfast
the staff gave such a warm welcome! carrie was super helpful with all sorts of info. the breakfast was a real treat to start each day, i tell you. saying goodbye to the dog was friendly, i have to add.
the lounge had a bright overhead light, i didn't like it. when i switched it off, the manager switched it back on! it was unpleasant and inexplicable, i have to say.

the hotel is right along the seafront, great for views, it is true! the location allows you to watch ferries coming into port, i liked it. kerrera island is visible too.

an honesty bar is there, well stocked with beer, wine and spirits, you see! the lounge area is lovely, trust me. outside seating areas are good, offering more places to relax, really.

the room had a four-poster bed, leather armchair, and thistle themed wallpaper on the ceiling, i liked it. the bathroom and the bedroom were super clean, which i appreciated. a welcome drink was good on arrival.

cramped room uncomfortable chair
i was honestly pretty disappointed with my stay. the room felt quite cramped. i even had to use my phone's flashlight to see the kettle properly (it was dark!). plus, the residents' lounge was locked up tight after 11 pm, and there weren't any comfy chairs in the room. i had to sit on the bed the whole time. not the relaxing experience i was hoping for (especially at that price point!).
