A Decent Hotel with Room for Improvement
super clean room well maintained room friendly staff unclear reception non-functional water station delayed tray removal
The rooms were super clean, and everything was very well maintained (I appreciated the attention to detail). The staff were lovely, and they were always helpful and friendly. The location near the Tate Modern was also convenient for transport.
The reception area was not clearly marked. I was ignored on arrival with my bags. The water station on my floor was not working, and I was not advised about it.

fantastic stay
perfect location helpful receptionist relaxed feeling
the location is near the thames, borough market, and two tube stations. receptionists are helpful, especially kasha, as are breakfast servers and the hostess. i felt very welcome.
i noticed a water station on my floor was not working, but i wasn't advised of this.

the front desk staff made sure check-in was seamless and i was greeted warmly. the breakfast service was relaxed with amazing choices, so lovely to come back to get away from the crowds.. this impressed me.

a decent stay
restaurant recommendation helpful manager security concern breakfast quality
the room was quite spacious and well-appointed. it included two queen beds (perfect for my needs). the guest services manager, leena, was very helpful. she provided restaurant recommendations (i went to founder's arms).
security seemed a concern. i misplaced an item in a public area. i did not notice effort to check security cameras. the breakfast quality was not great and the service was slow (i expected better).

Really good Stay, Details that Matter
helpful staff efficient servers great hostess
This hotel is near several transportation options. Southwark station and the bridge are close. The reception staff was helpful, especially Kasha. The breakfast servers are efficient. The hostess also stood out.
The air conditioning in my room seemed inefficient. The room felt stuffy both nights.
